Hackathons And Builders

Last updated: 2026-06-28

Hackathons are Cortensor's builder track: they turn decentralized inference into apps, bots, validation utilities, dashboards, and agent workflows. The archive below keeps historical programs readable while making the current agent-app direction easy to find.

Program Timeline

Internal

Mini Internal Hackathon

Two-week internal round focused on end-to-end flow, usability, bug discovery, lightweight bots, and developer experience.

August 2025

Hackathon #1

First public hackathon for decentralized inference apps, truth-style oracle demos, community bots, and basic agents.

September to November 2025

Hackathon #2

Expanded into agentic applications, app stores, developer SDKs/CLIs, public goods, and observability tools.

November to December 2025

Hackathon #3

Added stronger PoI/PoUW validation, attestations, app catalogs, tooling, knowledge layers, and fact-oracle asks.

Latest archived format

Hackathon #4

Agent apps planned around delegation, execution, validation, evidence, and continuing useful workflows.

Builder Tracks

Track Example outputs
API apps Chatbots, copilots, hosted completions, workflow automation, research summarizers, model showcases.
Agent apps Release agents, incident agents, QA agents, support agents, receipt verifiers, governance analysts.
Validation apps Claim checkers, fact oracles, rubric scorers, cross-run evaluators, evidence bundles.
Node/operator tools Router, miner, validator, session, task, reputation, latency, and uptime utilities.
Developer tooling SDKs, wrappers, CLIs, templates, replay runners, evaluation harnesses.
Public goods Documentation, examples, playgrounds, education tools, community support bots.

Agent-App Emphasis

Hackathon #4 maps directly to router, Portal/API gateway, Corgent, Bardiel, and future agent integrations:

  • agents call tools and external APIs;
  • work is delegated to Cortensor sessions or router endpoints;
  • results can be checked with redundancy, rubrics, validators, or fact-check flows;
  • outputs should include logs, evidence, replay steps, or visible user-facing explanations.
