Terms Of Use¶
Last updated: 2026-06-28
The Terms of Use govern access to Cortensor websites, products, APIs, AI services, node/network features, token-related surfaces, and associated content. By accessing or using Cortensor services, users accept the Terms and any referenced policies.
The legal document identifies Cortensor / The Cortensor Network as incorporated under the jurisdiction of Panama and frames the services for professional or business use. The services are not positioned as personal consumer services.
At A Glance¶
Users must be legally able to contract and meet the age requirements in the Terms.
Cortensor is an experimental decentralized AI network. Availability, functionality, routes, and token mechanics can evolve.
$COR is described as experimental and subject to migration, replacement, deprecation, or discontinuation.
Users are responsible for lawful use, credentials, wallet security, payment obligations, and data they submit.
Services Covered¶
Under the Terms, Cortensor is a decentralized AI network for AI inference, validation tasks, and AI-driven services. The service categories include:
- Inference services for prompt/completion workflows, real-time and non-real-time processing, and model-backed execution.
- Prediction services for forecast-oriented machine learning workflows.
- Generation services for text/content generation, synthetic data, data augmentation, and model-development support.
- Classification services for categorizing text, images, documents, entities, sentiment, or other structured data.
- Oracle services for reliable or verified data and validation workflows.
- AI marketplace services for sharing, purchasing, and integrating AI models, prompts, and agentic services when those services are available.
Product pages describe the currently documented surfaces: Portal, gateway, Router Node, Web2 APIs, Web3/contract interactions, dashboard/admin workflows, Corgent/Bardiel, PyClaw-facing integrations, and agent apps.
Access, Accounts, And Eligibility¶
Users must be at least 18 or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater, and must be competent to enter into a contract. Account data must be accurate and current. Users are responsible for protecting credentials, wallets, private keys, API keys, devices, and account activity.
Cortensor may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, prohibited activity, unauthorized use, inaccurate information, security risk, legal/regulatory concerns, or violations of the Terms.
Fees And Payment¶
The Terms include prepaid and pay-as-you-go payment concepts, balance deductions for usage, service suspension for insufficient funds, account/payment forms, payment method handling, recurring charges where applicable, taxes, late fees, disputed charges, and a no-refund posture unless otherwise stated.
For product documentation, this connects to:
- Portal billing and account plans.
- API gateway metering, quotas, and usage records.
- Router-level paid routes where enabled.
- x402 payment flows where a route publishes network, price, and pay-to address.
- Token and staking pages where
$CORutility or incentive mechanics are described.
Token Usage, Migration, And Restrictions¶
Under the Terms, $COR is experimental. Token functionality, distribution mechanics, governance features, utility, contract address, network, supply, allocation, or staking mechanics may change through migration or later token versions.
Users are responsible for following official migration instructions and verifying migration links or announcements. The Terms also reserve rights related to blacklisting or restricting wallet addresses and tokens tied to scams, stolen funds, contractor violations, launch sniping, or behavior harmful to the network, community, project, token holders, or ecosystem.
Cortensor materials do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Users are responsible for their own due diligence before token-related activity.
Experimental Software And Data Risk¶
Cortensor is experimental software. Users should understand risks such as service interruption, technical vulnerabilities, data leakage, unexpected behavior, route changes, contract changes, third-party provider failures, and blockchain irreversibility.
Users should not submit sensitive, confidential, or personally identifiable information unless necessary for the service being used. Privacy handling is covered in the Privacy Policy.
User Obligations¶
Users agree to use Cortensor lawfully and professionally. They are responsible for:
- Maintaining required consents, records, authorizations, and compliance obligations.
- Keeping account, payment, and wallet information accurate and secure.
- Paying applicable charges.
- Avoiding illegal, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized use.
- Avoiding vulnerability exploitation, smart-contract misuse, market manipulation, wash trading, unauthorized bots, illegal fundraising, malware, spam, or other harmful behavior.
- Complying with traceback, security, regulatory, or platform requests where applicable.
Third-Party Providers¶
Cortensor services may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, payments, blockchain infrastructure, analytics, support, marketing, communication, or other service functions. Provider failures, provider terms, geographic limitations, network interruptions, or third-party security incidents can affect the services.
Users may also interact with third-party wallets, RPC providers, explorers, bridges, DEXs, staking contracts, or applications. Those tools may have separate terms and risks.
Intellectual Property, Confidentiality, And User Data¶
The Terms include intellectual-property ownership, confidentiality, and user-data provisions. Cortensor materials, website content, platform components, marks, and software are protected by applicable IP rules. Users retain responsibility for the data, prompts, files, outputs, or other material they submit and for whether they have the rights and consents needed to use that material.
Liability, Indemnity, And Disputes¶
Services are provided as-is and as-available to the extent allowed by law. The Terms include warranty disclaimers, limitation-of-liability language, no financial responsibility language, indemnity provisions, force majeure, termination, dispute-resolution posture, and miscellaneous legal terms.
The Disclaimer contains additional risk and waiver language for experimental use, token-related activity, and restricted-address authority.
